Hi, I’m Krista!

As a migrant myself, I understand the journey of starting a new life here in New Zealand — the excitement, the challenges, and the big dreams we carry for our families. That’s why I’m truly passionate about helping other migrants not just settle, but also build a secure and confident financial future.

I believe that financial security is one of the most important foundations for a better life — for you and your family — and I’m grateful to be able to assist in this area.

My career has taken me from serving as a nurse back home, to becoming a teacher, and then a social worker under a government program in the Philippines focused on alleviating poverty. I’ve also worked overseas in both Taiwan and Thailand. After getting married, I became a stay-at-home mum for several years and a homeschool teacher to my two kids.

I married a passionate dairy farmer, and he has taught me to work hands-on at the farm as well. Today, we are happily contract milking in Rakaia.

Now that I’ve completed my Level 5 qualification in Life, Health, and Disability Insurance, I’m excited to be on board with Thrive.
